Annwn Foundation

The Annwn Foundation exists to further the study and practice of the Deep Imagination. The word Annwn is a welsh world which means the 'very deep place'. In Welsh tradition it is the source of life, creativity and the root place that Bards, Druids and Shamans would descend into to find healing and inspiration for themselves and the world.

The Foundation hosts a series of introductory workshops which give some insight into the experience of descending into the deep as well as a 2 year training called the Awen training which takes that insight and develops it into a grounded understanding of the potency of the embodied imagination.

The Programme Director is Ian Rees, a Psycho-spiritual Psychotherapist, working and living in Glastonbury. He has been working with people in relation to wounding and growth for approx 30 years. He has an abiding belief in the power of the embodied imagination and the curative nature of awareness and his ongoing inquiry is to trust the moment of unknowing and surrender fully to it.
